Yes, definitely. Some very, VERY nice industrial sounds, but not limited to scary noises only.

I'm going to go ahead and give this the thumbs up:

Thank you for the reviews, guys (and girl)!

One note is the FPC-compatible drumkits don't work correctly after FL included a "release" knob in the piano roll. You'll have to play around a little.

Say, is there anyone interested in an advanced Sytrus programming tutorial? I wrote one with audio demonstrations about 7 months ago, it was supposed to be on the FL Studio Wiki, but I'm not a HTML genious (read: totally ignorant)

I don't know if it would brighten anyone's day, as most people want a BASIC tutorial, not an advanced DSP-emulation tutorial.

Here's one of the audio demos from the .pdf (emulating a trasher/decimator effect with LPx3):

BTW: Anyone like the Halo Intro preset?  :)

Hey, if you are in a tutorial making mood, it would be greatly appreciated if you could whip up a quick-n-dirty tutorial on how to build some basic sounds in Sytrus (saw, triangle, square, etc.).
I love doing music reviews, but sometimes I have trouble finding the time. However, if you make a track and you want it reviewed, PM me with a link to the track's thread (please have track in .mp3 format, not .flp) and I'll try my best to review it for you.

Sortevik-

To get those waveform types in Sytrus, just click the window that displays the waveform with the right mouse button. It pops up a dialog that says "sine, triangle, saw, square"

Hope that helps!

I'd love an advanced tutorial on Sytrus, but what I think I need is a tutorial on FM synthesis...

Yes thank you so much Timmy  8)

Ok here is the obligatory dumb question, but what is the best way to open these in Sytrus... Isn't there a way to link to the entire folder? (that's what I do with Albino).  I don't really use Sytrus much so I don't know much about it. :-[
